Applying Discount to the total amount due
System allows users to apply a discount to the total amount due.
- When applying a discount to a tangible item or kit of goods, it is necessary to use a product code that belongs to the product group specified as "Discount (Item /KIT)".
- When applying a discount to a service product(s), it is necessary to use a product code that belongs to the product group specified as "Discount (Service)".
- Misapplying the discount category will impact the accounting process.
- User should use an item code / product code which is categorized as discount. This is configured in Product
Page where product group is Discount.
- User can utilize the product search page to determine which type of discount to apply.
- It is recommended to place the discount product code as the last / final item.
